HOW DO I SET UP THE FIRST APPOINTMENT?

In order for therapy to be most effective, you need to feel comfortable with your therapist. I offer a free 15 minute initial phone consultation which is a chance for you to get to know me a little bit, I can learn a bit about what you hope to achieve in therapy and we can see if we would be a good fit. Simply click the "I want to get started today" button below or the "Schedule Phone Consultation" button above to easily schedule a time to talk when Jennifer is available. Easy as that!

HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?

The initial session generally last about 60 minutes. Subsequent sessions are either 45 or 60 minutes long. I also offer 30 minute sessions in select situations for those clients doing well who want to maintain regular check ins. The frequency and length of sessions may change during the course of treatment, depending on your concerns and how you are coping.

ARE YOU BACK IN THE OFFICE YET? AND WHAT ABOUT ONLINE THERAPY?

YES I AM!

I am also offering online therapy to any clients located in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Many find online therapy to be highly convenient and effective!

I know you might have concerns about the privacy and security of online therapy. For more detailed answers to those questions:

DO YOU PROVIDE COUPLES/MARITAL COUNSELING?

Yes. I work with many couples during this time in their life with a range of presenting concerns. I am not taking on new couples clients at this time however.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Interval Health is an in-network provider with all commercial AETNA plans; including the AETNA student health plan for Princeton University Students.

Otherwise, we are considered out-of-network (OON) providers, meaning we do not accept those insurance plans.

ARE YOU PANELED ON ANY EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PLANS (EAPs)?

Yes. Interval Health is now an in-network provider with Lyra Health, which partners with many employers across the United States to offer a robust network of exceptional mental health providers. If your employer partners with Lyra Health, you will be able to receive services at Interval Health at little to no cost to you (some plans have a small co-pay). The number of sessions available per calendar year will vary based on your employer. You simply need to live in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Illinois or Florida or be present in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Illinois or Florida at the time of the telehealth session to access this fabulous benefit. Sessions are confidential.

Not sure if your company is partnered with Lyra? It's quick and easy to find out. Simply click the link below to go to Lyra's site and type in the name of your company. Check your spouse's company as well. Many offer benefits for all benefit eligible members of the family.  You can also check with your Human Resources Representative.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

For telehealth sessions, all major credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at the time services are rendered. FSA & HSA cards are also accepted so you can access care with all the tax benefits. Or you can submit receipts to your FSA provider for reimbursement yourself as you would with any other medical service.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
